Advent, Advent - the cookies are burning!
We are going on winter break
It's time again for Christmas cookies in all shapes and colors! And of course, we're serving them in true mausbrand style. So while we fill our bellies, we look back on a stressful but successful year 2023. With many ports, new frameworks and even some mini-games, we had our fun this year and mastered some challenges. After the fifth tin of vanilla croissants, we will then go into our well-deserved hibernation (company vacations) from 22.12.23 to 05.01.23 inclusive.
We wish all our customers and of course all our Mausbränder*innen a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

It's time to celebrate!
It feels like only yesterday that we built the first websites for our customers in the Technology Centre in Schwerte. Ten years have passed since then. In the meantime, with almost two dozen employees, we serve medium-sized companies from all over Germany and beyond. We look back with pride, but also look forward: Here's to the next 10 years - cheers!

Etna erupts!
ViUR framework v2.2 is out
ViUR, our powerful Python framework for the Google App Engine, has arrived version number 2.2.In contrast to our previous versions, ViUR 2.2 takes the code name "Etna", following the names of volcanoes all around the globe. The key aspects on this release where improvements and bugfixes. Please check out the blog entry on the ViUR website for more information.

Running hot at b2run 2018!
Sweaty but happy, our six runners got their medals on the b2run in Dortmund that happened yesterday. At best weather conditions and supported by other team mates, they battled against the 6 kilometers distance through the Westfalenpark and the two soccer stadiums Rote Erde and Westfalenstadion, all living in a huge recreational area in the near south of Dortmund. Even Roland is feeling enthusiastic: »From today we have to train hard for next year«, and possibly, Felix is also taking part... maybe?
ViUR Sprint 2017
Further development of our ViUR information system
Last week, the “ViUR Sprint” happened, a meeting that entirely related to our free software development framework. In total, 15 boys and girls from the Mausbrand-staff met for one week in Het Heijderbos, near the dutch-german border, dedicating to several topics around ViUR.

Our office is in the Projektspeicher - a creative place at the port of Dortmund. There is plenty of room for art, culture and encounters. Now the program is available for the second half determined. In addition to the famous harbor walk there are a few exhibitions that can be visited.
